A collaborative poem
a leaden heaviness weighs upon the grieving heart I spend my days remembering: collapsing at your feet covered in warm hues slowly becoming whole in your presence this golden image of you is preserved in the memory I search furiously for a way to transform you to make it real take this wound and heat it past language watching as hidden elements reveal in the fire of my sorrow sever my ring finger in exchange for freedom from this anguish the haunting of my soul take the threads of my memories elusive ghosts from the garden of my mind gather them and fashion a net something to break my fall as I soar through recollections of you: always falling faster than hands can catch heavier than love can hold
This was a collaborative poem! Here are the wonderful writers that contributed: Vision2Verse, HEW(Hue) of Poetry, Gathering the Pieces of Me, Kate M. Sine, Blue Evergarden, Renée Lucia, Speaking of...
Please note:
sometimes when creating a collaborative poem, it ends up that even smaller fragments lead to a unified whole or that words and phrases call for further shaping and moulding. This is no reflection on the contributor. Instead, it’s a beautiful reminder that the creative process is always filled with twists and turns.
If you would like to be a part of the weekly collaborative poems I would love for you to join my subscriber chat where we can write together every Friday!

Your body - your presence -
those low, almost invisible whispers
become a prayer of you inside my head.
You float
between the real and the false, the real and the unknown -
and I no longer know which fracture of you
I should call love.
Epic..
