an uncertain landing
a collaborative poem
the sky changes without losing itself its colours always transforming yet its expansive expression remains unaltered perhaps that is how we survive the everyday: allowing for soft breaks in the stifling familiarity that is each rotation bearing witness to the back and forth of every season and every sunrise into the dark then into the light ‘round and ‘round we go not needing to control where life is taking us rather we find our own way interrupting the monotony of the merry go round by jumping and trusting that our hearts can survive the risks of an uncertain landing
This was a collaborative poem! Here are the wonderful writers that contributed:
Jack Lovewell, Bob (the Green Druid) Johnson, Lawrence Omoregie Jr, Gathering the Pieces of Me, Amrita Skye Blaine, Aiyun, Speaking of..., Vision2Verse, Ara🦋🌹, Sharon Mulongo
Please note:
sometimes when creating a collaborative poem, it ends up that even smaller fragments lead to a unified whole or that words and phrases call for further shaping and moulding. This is no reflection on the contributor. Instead, it’s a beautiful reminder that the creative process is always filled with twists and turns.
