Dignity
A collaborative poem
we'd rather be blinded by bitter truths than suck the sweetness from your every lie at night we pray for the knowledge you like to hide with the scales tipped to one side a revelation stirs against darkness a formidable foe the stewards of justice in numbers grow just us here no truer battle than our fight to be free you have left us wounded but ready and we are coming for our dignity
This was a collaborative poem! Here are the wonderful writers that contributed:
🌸 Carolyn Jones 🌸, Bob Johnson, HEW(Hue) of Poetry, Alphonso Sunil, Amrita Skye Blaine
Please note:
sometimes when creating a collaborative poem, it ends up that even smaller fragments lead to a unified whole or that words and phrases call for further shaping and moulding. This is no reflection on the contributor. Instead, it’s a beautiful reminder that the creative process is always filled with twists and turns.
