I love you
A collaborative poem
the truth is there's nothing wrong with you you are lovable and always have been
I love you sweet lies and half truths were my greatest treasures I could only take honesty in the smallest of measures I love you every word in every sentence I carefully chose and from my selection deception arose I love you I lied time and time again without regret not to be deceitful simply to protect I love you I assumed my pain had to be hidden kept close fearing it's exposure would cost us both I love you I hid my shattered heart and silently cried while you were asleep concealing the chaos of me so I could be worthy of being yours to keep I love you yet I drove you away with hurtful actions rooted in fear I know it's my fault you are no longer here I love you the worst lie of all though sometimes it felt true mostly it wasn't and deep down I knew
This was a collaborative poem! Here are the wonderful writers that contributed: Jack Lovewell, Your Soul Wonderland with Dr. Henna, Elizabeth Ess, Sarasvati Songs, HEW(Hue) of Poetry, Quiet-Storm, Amrita Skye Blaine, Bob (the Green Druid) Johnson
Please note:
sometimes when creating a collaborative poem, it ends up that even smaller fragments lead to a unified whole or that words and phrases call for further shaping and moulding. This is no reflection on the contributor. Instead, it’s a beautiful reminder that the creative process is always filled with twists and turns.

This is one of my favorites from tou so far. Love it!
This hits me, how fear of losing someone and fear of being alone are so intertwined 💔
