before we sleep
before you take this pill you should totally go with me there are miles to go before we sleep
a summer sun hides beneath our skin I hope its light we one day get to bask in when justice is served and we receive our peace but there are still miles to go before we sleep before our memories can be corners of joy and not sharpened weapons to keep when our minds are no longer blistered from this ethereal heat there are miles to go before we sleep when our souls ignite for joy instead of burning for justice when our teeth don't have to chew on the embers of words too hot to speak our world overheating makes us weak but fascist faces only have our ass to greet though there are miles to go before we sleep we hope you feel your soles on fire when you find yourself in the pit you coal-bellied ashy piece of
